Eli Helmuth has been an instructor and examiner for the AMGA since 1999 and in the the last decade has taught more than 400 days of AMGA rock and alpine courses throughout the U.S. and Canada as well as conducting numerous certification exams.

A certified AMGA Rock Guide since 1991, Eli has accumulated thousands of days of experience in guiding multi-pitch rock and alpine routes and his breadth of experience around the world make him one of the most qualified AMGA guide trainers.

The following three day curriculum is the standard progression for the SPI Course.
